A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF AND MY COMPANY

Hello. Welcome to DaJH Diagnostics. Allow me to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about how DaJH can make your swimming pool and spa repairs easier, faster, and incredibly less expensive.

Our main purpose here at DaJH is to provide live, face to face, online service calls, at an incredible savings, between me (the service technician) and you (the customer).  Whether your the Hands-On homeowner, that enjoys doing your own repairs, or the professional technician, who just needs a little help figuring out why his pool heater won't work.  If you have the proper tools and testing equipment, and the basic diagnostic knowledge to use them, then I can confidently, guarantee that I can diagnose and solve, virtually any electrical , mechanical, or automation failure you may encounter on your Swimming Pool or Hot Tub equipment.

My name is John  Lee Harris and I was born in 1969, in Wichita KS, where I still live to this day.  I am the sole owner and service technician here at DaJH Diagnostics, with over 40 years of experience as an electrical and mechanical service  technician.  In 1985, at the age of 16, my swimming pool and spa career began, at Silver Springs apartment complex in west Wichita, where I spent  two summers cleaning and maintaining the pool and pool  equipment. In 1987 I graduated high school and got my first full-time job at Grede Foundries, where I worked as an industrial maintenance technician.  A few years later in 1989, I went to work for my new brother-in-law Steve Campbell, the owner of procare pools and spas.  At the time Steve was one of the best pool and spa technicians in the city of Wichita. Although at that time there were only about five or six pool companies in the entire city. I spent 4 years with Steve learning the ins and outs of pool and spa Diagnostics and repair until he until he went out of business in 1993. Then from 1993 to 1995 I was the lead service technician for Becky dragoo, the owner and manager of the Cal-Spas store on West Kellogg. After Cal Spas, I took a little vacation from the pool and spa industry.  The next five or six years I spent working as an industrial maintenance technician, at Sharpening specialists, Smith fiberglass, and Pepsi bottling group. The additional experience and knowledge I gained as an industrial maintenance technician allowed me to increasie my diagnostic and repair skills exponentially and further enhanced my understanding of electrical circuits and mechanical operations to a level far beyond that of most Pool and Spa technicians. I rejoined the ranks of pool and spa technicians in the year 2000 when I became the lead service technician for Ahhs Spas until they closed their doors in 2002.  Soon after, I got a 2nd shift job working 3:30 pm to midnight as an industrial maintenance technician for a company called Envision.

at the same time I started my own spa repair company called Oz spas and from 2002 until 2006 I worked two full-time jobs I worked my business all Spas from 8:00 in the morning till around 2:00 then had to work envision from 3:30 to midnight.           .  untilto owning my own pool service for awhile, to spending the last 16 years as the lead service technician at one of Wichita's leading pool and spa stores.  Over the years, I have amassed a great deal of knowledge, training, and experience in the diagnostics and repair of swimming pools and hot tubs.  Unfortunately , due to age and injury, I have reached a point in my life where field work is no longer possible.
